With the considerations of the last set of designs in mind I began to iron out details of the cover. Choosing to reduce and tighten the artists name to fit in a specific place which would work and be applied to all of the images we chose at the start of the brief. The single title is also placed to work on top of the image without obscuring it, again this design choice was made so that each image could be used and it would give the client a chance to choose his personal favourite for the release.
The images are not hindered by the over laying of the type but form a good relationship together, the red type is made clearer through the fact it is the only colour on the design, this also helps give the images chosen more depth and perspective than if the text was beside in the white space.
A process of how I got to these conclusions is evident through the research, the feedback and correspondence between the client and myself, and development I have produced. The covers take inspiration from the initial music cover research by taking popular aspects such as white border and image aswell as simplistic type used in a bolder way to create a visual branding for the new release from the client.
These images have now been sent off with the intention of being the final designs, hopefully the client will choose one of these designs for his single cover and I will convert them to the high res, correctly sized images he will need for the release on digital streaming platforms.
