OUGD603 - Client/Collab - Red Brick Roads - Design Development / Further Feedback

Continuing on from the previous comments given I began to produce more focussed designs which contain the specifications given to me by the client. Continuously sending designs back and forth and referring to my research.

Choosing to strip back the design in comparison to the early designs, wanting to be more inkeeping with the genre and aesthic of the music, I kept it block simple, these designs take inspiration from the research into music design and take into consideration the specifications given by the client. These covers feel like total opposites to the initial designs created, I did this to get a better understanding of the musicians wants, to see if these were closer to his envisioned finals or if I was still off the mark.

This process of back and forth has helped the process move swiftly and into a better direction than if I had complete free reign.

CLIENT FEEDBACK OF THESE DESIGNS -

- Use of Univers Black (Boldest form) works well as a stand out feature
- prefers the title name placed on the image
- Prefers the title name to fit the size of the image (Bottom Image)
-Would like the artist title in a smaller type (But likes the style of Univers regular)
- Would like to see the artist name laid over the image
- The image should be centrally aligned with a relatively thick border of white space surrounding
- Clean and polish the designs

TO DO-

-Play with the artist title placement
- Reduce artist title size (must remain visible on digital formats - clear)
- Continuing Back and forth Emails
