Studio Brief Four Finals

Having enjoyed researching and designing the small publication I wanted to print it to a high standard, something which I would love to have been given at the start of the year. I chose to print it on to a thick white matte 220 GSM, I wanted to use the digital print room as it was the best place at my disposal to get my publication made, using a regular printer could have resulted in my pages being off, colour being lost and an all round poor piece of work, basically something I would not have been bothered about if I was given it as a fresher. I wanted to produce it so that it looked as if I was bothered about it. The colours are printed really clearly, something which would have been lost if I had used a regular printer. Each aspect of the design I produced has been done for purpose all to fit to my initial concept of a simple publication on live music venues, the final outcome is simple, clear and enjoyable.

For a final Crit of the publication I asked:

- Is the guide simple and clear?

- Is the content relevant for the target audience (First Year Freshers)?

-Any Other Comments?

What I received from this feedback was assurance that the guide I have produced is clear and easy to read and understand, the type is of good size and the pages are easily digested. The Content was found to be useful and informative and the sticker idea telling of the cheap drinks was met with positive feedback, saying its a good selling point which not only makes the page pop but is a clever incentive to make people want to go to these places.
