Group Exhibition - Contract

Initially we all did individually research into what we felt were relevant concepts and ideas to generate a good concept for our exhibition. We each attempted to go down different creative routes so that when we came together we could build on the best of each others work and for a concept which works. Having different skills we knew there would be clashes of styles and opinions yet, we all kept an open mind and respected one and others designs.

Once we looked at a number of Ideas we originally went for a them of 60's Espionage, classy spy event in a way, we wanted a smart looking high class branding yet this evolved further into looking into wolf of wall street, cool business men style which looked more like an 80's style, this then evolved into us looking into the stock market and that sort of finance. This is were we started to click on ideas and where the project got easier as we were creating work which everyone had in there mind, utilising one and others skills, we knew what we could do and if someone was struggling getting there idea as a visual, someone else in the group would help. We all had specific jobs to under take -

Me - Invites to the exhibit, practicing with the branding used (Name of Exhibition, playing with poster design)

Nicky - Visual Identity, Branding and typeface design for the exhibit.

Katie - Way Finding

Natasha - social media, press pack, Invites.

Alice - Exhibit itself ways in which it may be expressed in order to suit our themes.

We met twice a week sharing our progress, ideas and looked what the next logical step was for our concept.
