Brief - Using a range of research techniques, production methods and informed design choices to produce work which aims to raise awareness of anti-war ideals and goals, looking at how will be best to produce and distribute the work.
To explore a wide range of research into anti-war organisations and design. Looking at the charities, protest movements and groups who oppose war and want peace as well as looking at the opposing side who have made a conflict between nations. Looking at stats, figures, manifestos and interviews to get facts to create content or slogans. To produce a project which promotes anti-war ideas and/or undermines those who force an aggressive agenda which promotes war and conflict.
Produce a campaign for an anti-war protest which looks at facts and statistics combined with current social commentary and imagery. The campaign should include posters, leaflets and banners for a protest. The project may include digital resolutions of the products, though the design should be print based for a physical element to spread word whilst at a protest.
Deliverables -
- A range of different protest, propaganda style products (i.e posters, flyers, banners, badges) which fully put across the correct tone and style which represents the research and issue undertaken. Each element should be printed in the best fashion with different aspects of production being considered (most reliables, cost effective and most relevant).
One of the three deliverables should use an element of print, be it screenprint, monoprint or letterpress.
