Ethical Design - Idea Generation

Beginning on idea generation, it felt best to get everything down on paper, recapping on the research which had been undertaken, the styles of design looked at and the connections to the chosen topic which can be used in a campaign. Listing the research undertaken refreshed the visuals which had been looked at, this helped to create ideas of styles, layouts and even typefaces that could be used. This technique helped to keep all the research relevant to the designs produced, the design and style had to be informed by the research to make it the most effective project.

Producing these lists and diagrams of related topics, current political/social and militant topics and more to get a full spectrum of relevant ideas, thinking about the UK's current political occurrences of a snap election being announce, the uprising of politics amongst young people and also meme culture, all this would feed into the project as they are current social things, they appear on social media, television and in printed form, it is a hot topic, this is good for the project though can also mean that the poster if not designed correctly will only add to the huge amount of political propaganda that is around at the minute. The poster had to be stand out and unique while also being clear and have a direct message.
