OUGD603 - Client/Collab - Red Brick Roads - Images and Idea Generation

Having chosen and edited the 5 images which were agreed on following the shoot, it was time to generate ideas based on research and specifications laid out by the musician. I will outline considerations and ideas;

5 Images (Edited and Agreed on)

These images were chosen for there rough aesthetic which also manages to get a wider view of Leeds centre in the distance. Charlie and I agreed on this because of the rawness of the images, they clearly encapsulate the Hyde Park/ Woodhouse areas of Leeds. 

Considering the ideas we had for the shoot we have tried these five variations which look at

-The streets of Leeds

- The people (Girl passing by)

-The motion of the music video (Man passing on bike) 

- Red brick walls and styles.

Considerations Outline in the brief to consider (though these boundaries can be pushed if they look good)

Required text

- Artist Name - 'From White To Gray' 

(This should be subtle and not the main focus but also must be seen. Consider past branding and weights in comparison to the single title type) 

-Track Title - 'Red Brick Roads' 

(This must be in lower case lettering - as specified by the musician - though he will happily look at other ideas)

(The track title should be the main text on the cover - 

consider - shades of red

-can smoke be incorporated into the design

-Dont over obscure the cover image but can work into it. 

As it is only for digital release the musician only requires the front of the cover producing.
