Further Research.

I was looking through books on design and illustration, to get inspired and get ideas on design for my secret seven Project. Having looked at a range of things so far throughout my research I knew I wanted to attempt paint and bright colour, which attracted me to these colourful painted illustration. Drawn by Christina Drejenstam and using inks and water on pen drawings, the use of colour is brash and organic. I like the rough feel of the colours not conforming to the lines.

The use of colours and style are all outlandish and work well with the design on them. I like the subtlety of some of the designs such as the lipstick stain poster and the black lips poster. Rather surreal and playful designs, which will all help my progress through this brief. The images used are striking and visually pleasing, I want to create something exciting and something I want to create something playful and bright.

Walking home from university, I found a bed of flowers and would like to draw a flower bed style and then collage or paint with these drawings, to create a bright colour style of design, Using oils and paints to show I have used a range of medias.
